1. By placing the soap vertically in two deep grooves, excess water can drain more easily, allowing natural ventilation that ensures quick drying of the product;

2. Placing the soap on three light grooves will avoid unpleasant water stagnation that could damage the product.

Cork is a completely natural and breathable material. Its use does not harm the plant like wood, it does not pollute like aluminum, it transpires. This way, even when stored in a closed container, your solid product will dry and maintain its compactness.

We would like to say a few words about cork processing

Soft gold, as it is called in Sardinia, is mined every 10 years, as required by law. If the thickness is considered insufficient, it can wait up to 15 years, taking full account of the time of creation!

The procedure is carried out by experienced personnel who cut away the bark on the surface without damaging the delicate underlying tissue, allowing the tree to continue to thrive.

By peeling off the cork, the tree continues to produce more oxygen, helping to purify the air we all breathe.

Consider that the cork trees in Italy alone produce 14 million tons of oxygen in a year!

Cork oak forests are called cork oak forests and have been preserved for centuries thanks to their functionality. Corks for wine bottles, lids for amphorae and other items were made from this material.
