Badger Balm - Beard Balm
Badger Balm - Beard Balm
Care & styling aid
A good beard balm should nourish the beard, lock in moisture, keep the hair in shape and be a light styling aid so that the beard not only looks healthier but also feels softer over time. The Badger Beard Balm can do it all - in a natural way. Key ingredients like jojoba and babassu oil absorb deeply and moisturize without leaving a greasy feeling. Vitamin-rich baobab oil also supplies the hair with essential fatty acids, while beeswax locks in moisture and ensures styling.
What is the difference between beard oil and beard balm?
Beard oil softens beard hair and nourishes the skin underneath. This is particularly helpful in the first 6 weeks of beard growth when irritation or itching may occur. It can also be used as an overnight intensive care treatment. Once the hair has reached a respectable length, a beard balm is better suited for care and styling. It's thicker, kind of like pomade, but not as thick as wax.
Application
For best results, the balm should be applied to a completely dry beard. First take a small amount of the product (approx. pea to coin size; more for longer beards) and rub gently into the palms of your hands. Then gently work it into the beard. Start at the neck and work upwards under the beard. Then work from top to bottom, along the cheeks and chin. Then comb through the beard with a beard comb - this also helps to distribute the balm even better - and style.
